What happens to Saga Egmont’s profits?
Saga Egmont is part of Egmont, the largest media group in the Nordics. Egmont brings stories to life through TV, film, games, books and magazines across more than 50 companies and brands.
Egmont is an enterprise foundation and spends around EUR 13 million every year to support children and youth at risk in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in taking an education, having an active voice in society and creating a good life.
Purpose
Egmont was founded by Egmont Harald Petersen in 1878. As a boy, he changed his own life story when, against all odds, he established a printing company and started bringing stories into the world. More than 140 years later, this is still what we do at Egmont: We bring stories to life.
Our own story is about taking responsibility and giving back to society. As an enterprise foundation we have spent part of our profits to help others for more than 100 years. Today, we donate around 13 million EUR every year supporting children and youth at risk in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in taking an education, having an active voice in society and creating a good life.
